Rotary Club Youth Leadership News
Ninth-grade members of Rotary Club Youth Leadership Programs from Cotter, Mountain Home and Norfork Schools are shown at the James A. Gaston Visitor Center in Bull Shoals where they worked briefly on the butterfly garden. With the help of Marion County Master Gardener volunteers, the group planted almost 200 pansies, dianthus and snapdragons, 45 daffodil bulbs, helped pull weeds, and lay new mulch. While they were in the garden, they encountered various butterflies and caterpillars and a few even found some eggs and chrysalis. |
